The PESCHKOMRUTKA: 100km around Gagauzia
The PESCHKOMRUTKA: 100km around Gagauzia

Once upon a time, in Gagauzia, were living 5 youth a peaceful and happy life. Two of them were coming from Spain, two from France, and one from Australi.. -sorry: Austria. They had choose to set up here for 6months, to enjoy the wine work with locals and learn... well not just a new language. That's why people were calling them TheVolunteers. Everything was fine. They lived in harmony with their Babouchka, sharing roof and Brinza, working in social and cultural projects.
But one day, whereas they were composing a song about the mysterious Gagauzia, something terrible happened. No one of them could say, what is indeed Gagauzia. They fall in despair. Yes, after three months here, what did they eventually know about Gagauzia? Not a lot, of course. Where had they been to? Comrat, Chirsova.. and who have they been speaking to?
They decided to figure it out, put on hiking shoes, prepared their bags, said Good-bye to babouchka, and hit the road..

5 people. 100km. 7 days. To discover Gagauzia... by foot! The PESCHKOMRUTKA set off in Komrat on the 3.7.13 and chugging heading south is expected to reach Vulcanesti on the 10.7.13.
What we experienced on this trip, which people we meet, which wine we drank J, you (and the rest of the world) can see later in a small documentary. Or- you meet us on the way.

So watch out this week, maybe, we are just about to cross your village...
